Welcome to Bloom Bright!

Thank you for coming to learn more about me and how I can empower your child and assist your family.

My name is Rebeccah and I have been an educator for almost 20 years. My love for education started at a young age and has grown into a life purpose. I hope to convey that to every family that works with me.

I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary and Special Education and my Master’s in School Leadership. I have tutored Special Education and struggling students and was a Special Education teacher for grades 3-8. As an administrator I served as Principal of a Charter School designed for Special Education and neurodiverse learners and as a Director of Academic Support overseeing a Pre-K to 8 Special Education program. I am also a mom of 3 young children and know how important it is to have a strong circle of people in your corner to carry the load of raising children.

Over the years, working with students with different learning styles, special needs, and neurodiverse thinking became my expertise and focus. Helping these students and their families feel like they are getting the assistance they need to achieve success and growth. My hope is that I will be able to provide you and your family with this same assistance.

I will work with you and your child to assess where they are currently, set goals for their growth, provide academic and behavior support, ensure they are getting their needs met at school, and give tools for success for both home and school.

I look forward to working with you to help your child Bloom Bright and Thrive!

My Services

Tutoring and Test Prep

Together we will set goals for our time together, assess your child’s current levels, create a plan for success, and spend every session focused on those goals. Sessions can be subject specific, IEP focused, test preparation, or homework help.

Advocacy

Navigating the education system can be overwhelming. I’ll be guiding you and advocating for you throughout the whole process. I will help you draft letters to your school, participate in meetings with the school, review any IEP or 504 documents, and do any research on laws or regulations regarding your child and their education.

Habit and Skill Building

Building good habits at home leads to success at school. I’ll work with you and your child to build habits around organization, time management, studying, and daily routines. Together we’ll set them up for success.
